Environmental Concerns:

The growing demand for green, alternative solutions comes with the increasing push for environmental awareness in many facets of life.  The agricultural industry has sought environmentally friendly yet cost effective containment methods, with high density polyethylene becoming the solution of choice.  With less fear of deterioration than any other liner, HDPE polyethylene liner is able to effectively contain any liquid or waste in order to maintain our environment.

Animal Waste:

Farms utilize large manure lagoons to store and treat the waste material of livestock.  Once the manure is in the lagoon, it is treated and degraded through various methods.  However, these lagoons are potential environmental disasters if contained poorly or treated improperly.  Geomembrane liners, both impervious and chemically resistant, are being acknowledged as effective barriers to leakage and the ensuing groundwater contamination.
